A Word from Our Senior Pastors, Obi and Franka Agada
Beloved New Life Chapel family,
As we step into this new year of 2026, our hearts overflow with gratitude for God’s faithfulness throughout 2025. We have witnessed His mercies, experienced His provision, and felt His presence in every season. Today, we stand on the threshold of a year filled with divine possibilities, and we want to share what we believe God is saying to us as a church family.
A Year of Greater Responsibility
The Lord has been speaking to us about stewardship—not just of our finances, but of our time, talents, relationships, and the very breath He gives us each day. In Luke 12:48, Jesus reminds us: “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded.” God has entrusted us with so much, and 2026 is the year He expects us to multiply what we’ve been given.
This isn’t about perfection; it’s about progression. It’s about taking what’s in your hand and allowing God to use it for His glory.
What God Expects From Us in 2026
1. Deeper Intimacy With Him
God is calling us beyond casual Christianity into a place of deep, authentic relationship. He desires more than our Sunday attendance—He wants our daily devotion, our honest prayers, our worship in the secret place. This year, let’s prioritize time with Him like never before. Whether it’s early morning prayer, lunchtime meditation on His Word, or late-night worship, carve out sacred moments to know Him more.
2. Intentional Community
We are not called to walk this Christian journey alone. Hebrews 10:24-25 encourages us to “spur one another on toward love and good deeds” and to not give up meeting together. God expects us to be present for one another—celebrating victories, supporting through trials, and speaking life into each other’s situations. Join a life group, serve on a ministry team, reach out to someone who’s been absent. We are family, and family shows up.
3. Bold Witness
This year, God is challenging us to be unapologetic about our faith. In a world that desperately needs hope, we carry the Good News. Whether it’s at your workplace, in your neighborhood, at your child’s school, or on social media, let your light shine. You don’t need a seminary degree to share what Jesus has done for you. Your testimony is your ministry, and someone is waiting to hear it.
4. Generous Giving
As we embark on our new church building project, God is calling us to sacrificial giving. But this goes beyond finances. He wants us to give our time to serve, our gifts to bless others, our forgiveness to those who’ve hurt us, and our resources to advance His kingdom. When we give generously, we demonstrate our trust in God’s provision and partner with Him in transformation.
5. Personal Growth and Development
God has placed dreams, visions, and potential inside each of you. This year, He expects you to invest in your growth. That’s why we’re launching New Life Chapel University—to equip you with biblical knowledge, practical skills, and leadership training. Whether you’re called to ministry, business, education, or any other field, God wants you prepared and excellent in all you do.
Our Commitment to You
As your pastors, we commit to praying for you faithfully, teaching God’s Word truthfully, and leading with integrity. We’re here to support you, encourage you, and walk alongside you as we pursue God’s purposes together.
We believe 2026 is the year of acceleration for New Life Chapel. God is about to do things we’ve only dreamed of, open doors we’ve only prayed about, and bring breakthrough we’ve been believing for. But it requires all of us—unified in purpose, committed in prayer, and obedient to His call.
Let’s Rise Together
This is not a year to sit on the sidelines. This is not a season to play it safe. God is calling you higher, deeper, and further than you’ve ever gone before. He’s expecting your yes—your wholehearted, sold-out, nothing-held-back yes.
Will you answer the call?
We love you, we’re praying for you, and we can’t wait to see what God does in and through you this year.
Walking in faith with you,
Pastors Obi and Franka Agada
